The Cowichan Valley Bluegrass Festival is the ultimate event introducing all ages and families to bluegrass, old-time music, and beyond! Some of the community projects are the square dance workshops that is organized at local schools leading up to the festival. To date, these activities have engaged over 2,000 students—with some 600 taking part in a single two-day event! This year marks another milestone for this inspiring program that has become a tradition in Lake Cowichan.
