Double Decker Arts Festival

In Spring 2023, Oxford will host its 26th Double Decker Arts Festival. This grand event originated from the English Double Decker bus that the town introduced in 1994, and it has been growing and become one of the most acclaimed festivals all around! Not only does this festival bring together talented artists and performers from all across, but it's also a testament to Oxford's deep appreciation for artistry.

Double Decker Arts Festival began humbly, with an old pickup truck serving as the stage for music and only a few arts and food vendors. Flash forward to today, where it is centered around the remarkable Courthouse Square, drawing in an impressive audience size of over 60 thousand individuals!

This renowned festival is now condensed into a two-day event, launching on Friday with art demonstrations and musical performances throughout the evening. Saturday will be an all-day extravaganza of more than 100 pieces of art, 20+ local food vendors, and various touring musicians to keep everyone entertained!
