For over three decades, jazz fans and music icons have been gathering annually during the summertime in Elkhart for one exciting weekend at the renowned Elkhart Jazz Festival. This event has garnered global recognition by combining an intimate, small-town atmosphere with the power and fun of a major city's jazz scene.

When it launched in 1988, the festival was graced with the presence of 67 talented musicians and 3,000 passionate jazz fans. Nowadays, this annual celebration of America's classic art form - jazz, has grown to be even more grandiose! It has now had over 100 performers and witnessed 15,000 people from all walks of life gather together for an unforgettable experience that only this remarkable festival can bring.

What makes this event so extraordinary is its small-town ambiance and large headliners. Entirely volunteer-driven, the Elkhart Jazz Festival was made possible by passionate people who love music. It might be among the only jazz festivals that run on such a devoted crew of volunteers in all of America!
