Erlanger Bal Folk Festival

Erlanger Bal Folk Festival is proudly hosted by the esteemed non-profit organization Erlanger Tanzhaus e.V. This association has an impressive 220 members and a team of more than twenty expert dance instructors who teach national and international styles alike! Founded on November 29th, 1988, this beloved cultural institution in Erlangen is also part of their city's association for cultural associations, thereby ensuring its legacy lives on through both time and space.

Erlanger Tanzhaus provides a space for all dance lovers who may not fit in with traditional dance schools or stage dancing. The activities are mainly centered around leisure and enjoyment; it's an opportunity to explore yourself through movement without any performance pressure! Erlanger Bal Folk Festival wants everyone to have the chance to experience their own body and revel in the joy of dancing.

From the end of April through the beginning of May, the 5th Bal Folk Festival of Erlangen Tanzhaus is coming to town! Throughout the day, there will be plenty of dance workshops for you to enjoy. Also, on each evening, expect exciting folk balls with an array of activities. Join the crowd and have a blast at this festival that promises not only auditory pleasure but also twice as much fun!
