EselRock Festival

Since 2008, the EselRock music festival has brought joy to the people of Wesel on the Lower Rhine every spring. Held outside and accessible for all, this two-day event takes place at Heubergpark and has become part of its youth culture. Equally appealing to young adults and grownups alike, EselRock showcases an array of musical genres that will entertain everyone in attendance!

It all began in 2007 when the lyricist open air was held at Heubergpark and sparked the idea of creating a music festival for young people and music lovers in Wesel. The park proved to be an ideal spot for organizers and attracted over 7,000 visitors from various age groups, forming the inaugural of EselRock Festival in 2008.

Since its inception, "In vain and outside" has been the motto of the EselRock Festival. Unmotivated by financial gain, it allows Wesel's citizens to experience something unique while transforming Heubergpark into a prominent event location. National musical acts from surrounding areas grace the main and lake stage for this extraordinary occasion.

On May 19th and 20th of 2023, the EselRock Festival will take place in Wesel, Germany, featuring a star-studded lineup including Flash Forward, Paula Carolina, and Tusky, as well as The Deadnotes, and many more will come to join in the fun. This festival is a perfect destination to make a memory that lasts forever!
