Festival Jazz a Ouaga

In 1992, a group of passionate jazz enthusiasts established the Jazz à Ouaga Association with a mission to cultivate and expand the global reach of this African-American art form. To fulfill that pursuit, they organize Jazz à Ouaga, an annual festival in Ouagadougou unveiling some of the most celebrated jazz musicians from around the world.

At Jazz à Ouaga, quality programming and authenticity are honored. To celebrate African and international jazz from around the globe, Jazz à Ouaga invites talented stars to perform on stage for an eclectic program that unveils original music at its finest.
