In April of 1997, the South West welcomed a new festival with an undeniable punk/rock vibe - Garorock. A pun on both 'Garonne' and 'Rock,' as well as Gare au Rock in French, it was born from the old Marmandais slaughterhouses.
After 15 successful editions, Garorock Festival is relocating to the Plaine de la Filhole – a more natural space that aligns with its eco-friendly objectives. Mark your calendars! The Festival will take place from June 29th to July 2nd, 2023. Don't miss out on this amazing event and the opportunity to experience all it has to offer!
For twenty-five years, Garorock has cemented its reputation as one of France's premier festivals. In 2019 alone, it drew in an astounding 160,000 visitors thanks to a captivating and diverse program crafted by Ludovic Larbodie - making the event a must-see for all who seek modern music from the Southwestern region. With its deep roots within the local culture, Garorock continues to flourish year after year!
For the young and vibrant, Garorock Festival 2023 is an unforgettable 4-day extravaganza at Filhole plain. With six stages, a huge campsite, amusements, and all kinds of entertainment options – there's no better way to launch summer than with a weekend in full swing at Marmande!
