Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival

The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival is a widely anticipated annual event held in the charming town of Colne, Lancashire. It takes place on the last bank holiday weekend every August and lasts three days. Artists from all around the world come to perform at local pubs and venues throughout Colne, attracting countless visitors dressed bohemian-style who are eager to enjoy an eclectic array of music!

The festival is dispersed among various venues within the town center, with capacity ranging from 50 to 750. Plus, there's Colne & Nelson Rugby Club, which also provides camping space for attendees! The town offers an ideal setting for such a special event - one main street (closed to cars) lined with performers, delicious food stands, and bars. This vibrant atmosphere promises something extraordinary each year that entices people from all around the world!

After two years of absence, the Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival returned in 2022 with extraordinary success. Ticket and camping sales broke records while an estimated 35,000 people attended the event - making it one of the most successful festivals to date!

The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival 2023 is set to be incredible and promises an impressive selection of live music, with concerts occurring at both the main stages and all Official Fringe Venues throughout town from Friday, 25th August, through Sunday, 27th August.
