Following the departure of Ado Schlier, known as "the father of songs," Staffelstein district and city, along with Hanns-Seidel-Foundation, were able to secure an experienced and professional new partner in Bamberg's event service. The "Songs of 2016" marked the beginning of "Lieder auf Banz." Lieder auf Banz has been held on the monastery meadow in front of Banz Monastery annually since 2017. This traditional singer-songwriter competition, presented by the esteemed Hanns Seidel Foundation and responsible for launching many notable artists' careers, will continue as usual!
