LungA Festival

Every summer, hundreds of vibrant and passionate artists from around the world join together in Seyðisfjörður for a week-long event dedicated to art and music. Established in 2000, this cultural extravaganza features workshops, lectures, exhibitions, and concerts that culminate into an unforgettable experience for all participating. Moreover, 2013 marked the beginning of LungA School – an artist-led institute designed to inspire creativity in its students.

Since its inception, LungA has been a catalyst for creative expression and the fostering of art awareness. It is an ideal place for individuals looking to pursue their artistic dreams or teach in art schools.
