Manchester Pride Festival is more than just a party - it's an expression of defiance. This celebratory event is part of the world's most significant LGBTQ+ freedom movement, proudly showcasing queer individuals and their culture as an act of resistance against stigma and discrimination.

The LGBTQ+ movement has made tremendous progress in the past five decades; however, there is still a long way to go. Despite this growth, queer youth are being bullied and harassed more than ever before, leading to increased self-harm and homeless rates. There have also been spikes in anti-LGBTQ+ hate crimes reported worldwide. This fact makes it even more vital that Manchester Pride celebrations remain potent symbols of hope for those fighting for equality everywhere.

Celebrate the August Bank Holiday weekend with the Manchester Pride Festival, presenting a wide range of activities for all! Some are free to attend; however, other events require entry tickets.
