Mooste Elohelü

Mooste Elohelü (also known as Moisekatsi Elohelü or Põlva Folkfest) is an annual folk music celebration located at the enchanting village of Mooste in Põlva county established in 1999. Hosted and organized by the esteemed Folkiselli Society, this extraordinary event has become a treasured part of Estonia's vibrant culture for over two decades - offering captivating entertainment combined with traditional values that will inspire all who attend!

Mooste Elohelü is reviving and celebrating the culture of Estonian folk music through live performances, combining traditional and modern elements. In addition to concert programming, a competition will be held to honor the special vocal-instrumental abilities of each musician. This event offers an exciting opportunity for enthusiasts to experience authentic cultural expression in a vibrant atmosphere!

On July 14th and 15th, the illustrious Mooste Manor in Põlva County will host 2023, the magical XXIII Mooste Elohelü.
