Mostra Festival

Mostra is an organically-driven festival that celebrates avant-garde and experimental electronic music. A beautiful counterpoint to the macro celebrations, Mostra stands out from other crowded events in Barcelona as it consciously connects with the city's social, cultural, and artistic ecosystem. In a small-format setting, this independent experience offers something much more personal than you can find elsewhere.

During one of the darkest moments of Covid-19, everything seemed to stand still, including culture. This situation is why Mostra was born - a new way to celebrate life and offer an exciting cultural experience for Barcelona with an electronic music festival alongside other activities throughout the year.

The year 2022 marked the triumphant return of the Mostra Festival, a celebration bringing people together to experience and embrace live music to its fullest. The event was back with a bang, yet this time wanted it to be even more special; an act of love from their hearts. As such, come 6th April 2023 onwards for four days worth of joyous festivities as Mostra returns for its second edition!

Mostra represents Barcelona's thriving art, film, and theatre scene. Much like an artist showcase or exhibition of various countries in one setting, each issue of Mostra highlights extraordinary talent across the globe.

Mostra's program presents an innovative approach to discovering and appreciating the latest in electronic music with its festival concept, which aspires to go beyond ordinary limits. It offers a chance to explore distinct musical genres while providing exposure for artists who only sometimes appear at Barcelona locations or festivals.
