Muddy Roots Festival

Hosted annually in Cookeville, Tennessee, since 2010, Muddy Roots is an unrivaled American music festival that offers much more than exceptional musical entertainment. Not only will guests have the opportunity to camp and boogie on down with their favorite artists, but they will also partake in a car show, browse vendor booths, and admire beautiful pin-up pageantry.

Muddy Roots Festival is an event that celebrates all things roots blues, bluegrass, and punk. This festival isn't just another muddy camp-and-music festival; it's a unique gathering of country music lovers who flock to Overton County for three days of hillbilly entertainment. People come in droves, initially attracted by the diverse musical lineup. Still, they keep coming back time after time thanks to its tight-knit community atmosphere akin to what one might experience at Bonnaroo.

In 2023, Muddy Roots Festival will take place for three days at the beginning of September. This festival will feature Bridge City Sinners, Belushi Speed Ball, D.R.I., Little Foot, Tejon Street Corner Thieves, S.S. Web, Cro-Mags, Hans Gruber and the Die Hards, Torsion, Beggars Canyon, Volk, The Jasons, L.I.P.S. band, Amigo The Devil, The Weird Sisters, Goddamn Gallows, with many more artists gracing the stage.
