Niel Gow Festival

Since its launch in 2004, the Niel Gow Festival has been a significant destination to honor Perthshire's fiddling hero. This festival features concerts from international stars, multi-instrumental workshops, and open sessions, allowing visitors to jam with others. At the same time, they try out their instrument. Additionally, local artists and business owners are offering up stalls at the festival, which takes place annually in Dunkeld and Birnam--two towns full of history where Gow spent much of his life.

In 2023, Niel Gow Festival will occur across multiple venues in Dunkeld and Birnam from March 17th-19th. You'll be regaled by some of Scotland's finest fiddle and traditional music. Whether at concerts, sessions, or workshops - there is something for everyone during this extraordinary event!
