The NYX Festival is a five-day event that takes place during the Winter Solstice. It features a diverse range of music, arts, and cultural activities that you can enjoy throughout the five days. The NYX Festival is coming back to North Queensland this year as a thriving underground art, music, and culture event following a successful last edition.
The five-day experience takes place in a remote 30,000-acre property located in Ravenshoe near Cairns. Beautiful rivers, paper bark trees, and eucalyptus forests surround the property. Spend the winter solstice dancing under the clear starry sky of the Milky Way in the best location to connect with nature during perfect weather conditions.
The entertainment program at the festival offers a range of activities, such as two stages of music, a designated workshop area and kids space, several performances, an art gallery called Solis Oculus, multiple art installations, a market area with food, retail and healing stalls, and other scattered activities throughout the festival grounds. Camping is also available at the festival, complete with showers and toilets for all attendees to use.
