Obscene Extreme Festival

The Obscene Extreme festival, shortened as OEF, is an annual music festival in the Czech Republic that focuses on extreme metal subgenres, grindcore, death metal, and hardcore punk. It was founded in 1999 as a birthday party by Miloslav "Čurby" Urbanec. The festival has offered exclusively vegetarian and vegan food within its premises since its inception.

Over the years, The Obscene Extreme festival has welcomed many acclaimed metal bands, including renowned groups like Napalm Death, Possessed, Obituary, Sodom, Immolation, and Grave. Other heavy hitters such as Suffocation, Vader, and Incantation have graced its stages, too, not to mention Terrorizer, Exhumed, Asphyx, and Morgoth.
