Mark your calendars for July 21–22, 2023: the return of Wyoming's beloved Oyster Ridge Music Festival! The event aims to improve rural communities by bringing arts and culture to their doorsteps, providing educational and cultural experiences, forming partnerships with other organizations, and creating a substantial economic impact. Don't miss out; join other festivalgoers for this free event that celebrates music from all genres!
The Oyster Ridge Music Festival offers a plethora of exciting activities, such as the "Infamous Band Scramble!" Here, musicians are grouped together in a surprise band. But that's not all—there's so much more to explore and experience at this festival beyond just listening to music. From fossil digging and fishing to simply walking through the expansive grounds, you're sure to discover something new each time you visit.
Since its inception in 1994, the Kemmerer Music Festival has been a yearly occurrence (minus 2020 due to COVID-19). Every July, music lovers from all over converge on the small town of Kemmerer for an extraordinary world-class musical event - completely FREE! The festival's success is thanks to local organizations and individuals' generous contributions, as well as the event's volunteer board members and committees, who work arduously year after year. Attendees are always treated to a memorable experience that other events cannot replicate.
By thriving in its mission, Oyster Ridge Music Festival shifted from regional performers to a nationally renowned talent pool. The event has been honored by having esteemed artists on stage like Terri Hendrix and Lloyd Maines, The Peasall Sisters, Mountain Heart, The Steeldrivers, and Reckless Kelly, all of whom are Grammy winners!
