Rock Zottegem

Politician Kurt De Loor, alongside his brother Karl and a number of their friends, inaugurated the Rock Zottegem festival in 1994. Through its growing success over time, it was relocated to Bevegemse Vijvers - now drawing tens of thousands of attendees annually.

Rock Zottegem has invited many renowned rock and pop artists such as Fischer-Z, Front 242, James Brown, Clouseau, The Sisters of Mercy, Heideroosjes, Echo & the Bunnymen, and Alice Cooper. With a focus on delivering top-quality music of pop, rock, and any genre surrounding it for its audience to enjoy in an unforgettable atmosphere.
