Twenty-one years ago, this festival started as the Bob Cat Alley Bluegrass Festival to raise money for uniforms for Junior Football League teams - nobody anticipated just how big and famous it would become today. The first festival could only attract 80 participants; soon after, the largest crowd stretched to over several thousand. This festival has had visitors from 42 out of the 50 states in the US, plus six countries overseas, come to witness one of America's top Bluegrass Festivals here in this small town.
