Ruhrpott Rodeo

Since its inception in 2007, the Ruhrpott Rodeo has been one of Germany's most famous punk festivals. Initially held at a Gelsenkirchen amphitheater, by 2008 it moved to an open-air location on the Schwarze Heide airfield near Bottrop where an average of 7000 people attend each year. As such, this festival is now considered the largest punk event within German borders.
