Salmonfest

Each year, Salmonfest graces the Kenai Peninsula village of Ninilchik with an amazing three-day event that brings over thousands of people together for music, food, art, and brews. With its ever-growing reputation both nationally and within state borders as Alaska's most dynamic gathering around fish, love, and music, it is no surprise that families from far away come here.

Since Salmonfest started in 2011 as Salmonstock, it has become a formidable force to safeguard and strengthen salmon populations and their habitats. It's an even more popular destination for families, friends, visitors, and musicians from all over the country due to its mission of preservation.

Salmonfest has always been and will continue to be managed by a 501(c)(3), with the major portion of revenue going towards preserving the habitats of salmon in Alaska's oceans and streams. Even though most people come for music, fun, and friends, they are also there to advocate for wild salmon populations. Salmonfest is devoted to distributing proceeds every year in order to make sure that conservation projects can keep running.

On August 4-6, head over to the Kenai Peninsula Fairgrounds in Ninilchik, Alaska, for a memorable festival featuring over 50 bands across multiple stages.
