The Sound of Music has experienced enormous growth since it started as a humble marching band parade in 1980. Proudly operating as a non-profit corporation, the organization annually produces Canada's Largest Free Music Festival each June with the unwavering support of hundreds of volunteers and sponsors and an enthusiastic staff. Thanks to their commitment and passion for music, Downtown Burlington and its waterfront are transformed into musical havens every year!
