The organizers are elated to announce this year's program, which will run from March until April 2023, at various venues located throughout Ueno, Tokyo. From operas and orchestras to chamber music and enjoyable casual tunes on street corners, world-renowned artists, both Japanese and international alike, join forces each springtime in order to add the vibrancy of sound that reverberates through the cityscape.
Kicking off the 19th Music Festival is the "Italian Opera Academy" by Riccardo Muti and chamber music with members of the Berliner Philharmoniker.
