Steampunk Music Festival

The Steampunk Music Festival began nine years ago as a small house gathering to celebrate the solstice and a friend's birthday. The band 'The Cutmen' was asked to perform again and again after their initial fantastic performance. Over time, additional crews were added to the event, resulting in the growth of the festival into what it is today.

This three-day festival draws people of all ages together who like music, dancing, and art. It takes place on a 40-acre lot near La Pine, Oregon, and is intended to be family-friendly. One of the festival's primary purposes is to generate funds for local non-profit groups and to recognize their contributions to the community. This year, the festival's non-profit benefactor is The Environmental Center.

The festival has a strong Steampunk vibe and invites attendees to come dressed to the nines. The festival's decorations create a Steampunk ambiance, which you may enjoy while dancing around the area. Although the event has a Steampunk theme, it also offers a range of music genres, with National Touring artists as well as local Bend, Oregon bands. High-energy live bands and DJs will keep the dancing party going all night.

The Steampunk Music Festival has announced that it will be taking steps to reduce waste. To help with this effort, all guests are asked to bring their plates, bowls, flatware, and cups for their food and drinks. Please be prepared to bring your reusable serving items.

Offering more than just music, The Steampunk Music Festival provides opportunities to make connections and memories you can take home. The festival includes a kids zone, workshops for kids and adults, educational speakers, art installations, live painters, and various non-musical performers and entertainers, creating an unforgettable experience for everyone!
