Stonefest

Every year in the eleventh week of the second semester at the University of Canberra, Stonefest (known to some as Stone Week) is held to commemorate the historical placement of its foundation stone. This festival has been a treasured tradition since it was first initiated in 1968.

It's time to get ready for Stonefest - UC Live, the music and live entertainment division of the University of Canberra Union (UCX) is throwing an event like no other. With a lineup that includes both widely acclaimed acts and local favorites set on Northern Concourse at UC, it will be THE party to attend this year! So grab your friends, put on those dancing shoes, and join in all the fun.

For quite some time, Stonefest was the most significant music festival in Canberra and a renowned one across Australia. Nowadays, however, the festival has made its mark on Canberra's landscape with performers from not only regional areas around Canberra but also all over Australia as well as eminent international artists.
