Tampereen Sävel - Tampere Vocal Music Festival

Join the crowds in celebrating the beauty of vocal music at this year's Tampere Vocal Music Festival! From June 14th to 18th, 2023, attendees can experience live performances at various locations, including Tampere Hall and Tampere Cathedral. After a successful virtual event in 2021, it is now time for fans worldwide to come together again and enjoy an extraordinary selection of choirs and vocal ensembles.

The forthcoming Tampereen Sävel festival in 2023 will feature an array of vocal music genres, spanning from traditional folk tunes to contemporary ensemble pieces and compositions ranging between the Middle Ages and modern times. They are privileged to have the esteemed Canadian group Vancouver Chamber Choir, as well as Swedish bands AORA & The Real Group, joining the stage for this event.

Additionally, both amateur singers striving for excellence and experienced choirs alike can take part in choir reviews or compete with each other during our singing contest – an excellent opportunity to show off their skills! Also, guests can look forward to various workshops complemented by free activities designed for everyone's taste.

Celebrate the infinite beauty of vocal music in Tampere every other summer at an international event that combines a range of genres, from traditional choral songs to modern pop and beatboxing. From 1975 onwards, this unique festival has provided a space for musical harmony like no other.
