TD Halifax Jazz Festival

The TD Halifax Jazz Festival, which used to be called the Atlantic Jazz Festival, is a summer festival held every year since 1987. It is the oldest and largest jazz festival in Atlantic Canada. The festival features jazz music and also presents a variety of other music styles, such as world, roots, blues, Latin, and R&B.

The Halifax Jazz Festival, also known as JazzEast Rising, is a non-profit organization that started in 1987 with the aim of hosting the first-ever Halifax Jazz Festival in Canada. Halifax Jazz Festival is a registered charity and has expanded its scope beyond the TD Halifax Jazz Festival. It now engages in a variety of musical and educational events throughout the year.
