Each summer, locals and tourists flock to the municipality of Træna, located in Nordland county in Norway.

Here, you can experience the truly unique Trænafestivalen – an annual festival held on two islands accessible only by ferry from Lurøy’s mainland.

Surrounded by breathtaking nature enhanced with music from venues including a church and tents, visitors enjoy 23 hours of unending midnight sun while celebrating this one-of-a-kind event!

Since its inception in 2003, the annual festival has taken off - growing exponentially each year. Today, you can experience many activities, such as paddling, yoga, free diving, and more! The event also includes Træna pride and an exciting Trænathlon to complete your festival journey.
