Every year during the last half of July and the first part of August, music enthusiasts from around the world gather in Verbier, Switzerland, for an extraordinary two-week musical event known as The Verbier Festival.
Here they can experience a magical exploration through some of their favorite classical tunes accompanied by stunning views and lush mountain terrain.
Since its launch in 1994 by Swedish expatriate Martin T:son Engström, this international platform has welcomed prominent soloists, including Piotr Anderszewski, Leif Ove Andsnes, Martha Argerich, Lera Auerbach, Emanuel Ax Sergei Babayan and Khatia Buniatishvili.
During the 17-day Verbier Festival, visitors are invited to experience an array of jazz concerts and special guided tours in the nearby areas, all free of charge. Additionally, aspiring musicians are supported through various academies, and orchestras held onsite.
