Vilde Vulkaner Festival

Vilde Vulkaner Festival, a musical and theatrical event held annually in Vordingborg since 1995 for children aged 7-14, has become phenomenally popular. Starting with 1100 guests from SFO attending during the first week of their school summer holidays, it now sees anywhere between 10,000 - 12,000 attendees each year! With its unique blend of music and play activities available to them throughout the daylong festival at various locations around town, it's no wonder that more and more people want to join in on the fun every year!

Every year Denmark comes together as children from all corners of the nation congregate in one location, united by music and their shared desire to have a good time. For three days, they take over the festival square - engaging with activities, enjoying each other's company, and playing without restriction or limits in terms of age or municipal borders. Festivals create unforgettable memories for both kids and educators alike!

Not only have some of the greatest Danish artists attended festivals, but children from a wide variety of clubs, recreation centers, and SFOs can showcase their performance skills too at Vilde Vulkaner Festival.
