Vive Latino Festival is a grand music celebration that takes place each year in Mexico City. It hosts some of the greatest artists and groups from multiple genres, offering an unparalleled variety of sound and style at Foro Sol during March or April. As one of Mexico's most formidable festivals, it's sure to be an unforgettable experience!
For years, the festival has spanned from one to three days and included two to four stages. Since its inception in 1998, it's been a yearly tradition that continues. In 2010, however, the festival's length was fixed at either 2 or 3 days as per popular demand.
Every year, the festival creates an environment for alternative music lovers by convening renowned and up-and-coming bands from Ibero America. Throughout its history, Latin American celebrities such as Charly García, Café Tacuba, Enrique Bunbury, Aterciopelados, and Los Tres have come together to celebrate their love of music over three days. The event provides a unique opportunity to hear new sounds and proposals from Spanish-speaking countries worldwide!
The festival's lineup consistently features globally renowned performers, such as The Magic Numbers, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Chemical Brothers, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Additionally, the event continually provides a robust presence in ska and reggae with legendary acts like The Wailers and The Skatalites alongside modern favorites like Save Ferris.
