Music fans from around the Chugoku region flock to Yamaguchi City for Wild Bunch Fest every year. This massive outdoor event takes place at the stunning Yamaguchi Kirara Expo Memorial Park. It features an incredible array of performers that make it one of a kind in its area.
In 2013, Wild Bunch Fest was born as a successor to SETSTOCK - the event held in Hiroshima Prefecture from 1999 until 2012. Since 2003, it has been hosted at Bihoku Hillside Park, located in Shobara City.
Yamaguchi Kirara Expo Memorial Park's unique layout allows for the two main stages, "Bandits Stage" and "Pirates Stage," to be conveniently located side by side in the sports plaza. It also features a beach area with two different stages: Lookout hill and Wind Spirit stage. An exceptional feature of this festival is it is On The Sea stage, which floats on the sea of the moon, exclusively used as a closing act each day. There is also a dome (multi-purpose) available to visitors wishing to take some time out during their stay!
Last year's edition, the Wild Bunch Fest, brought renowned artists to grace the stage, such as Novelbright, HEY-SMITH, MY FIRST STORY, WANIMA, Hump Back, Vaundy, sumika, SUPER BEAVER, Lucky Kilimanjaro, and many other talented performers.
