Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival

Every May, thousands of people come together for the award-winning Wildflower! Arts & Music Festival - a sensational three-day tribute to music and art in North Texas. Born from a small community event held at a local park in Richardson in 1993, this festival commemorates wildflowers blooming throughout the city each spring season with its name.

For decades, attendees have been entertained by countless live musical acts on multiple stages, kids' activities, and artistic performances along Performance Row. Additionally, the festival provides various regional delicacies for visitors to try, as well as a Marketplace that features local artisans and their works. It also presents various initiatives that recognize and encourage gifted musicians and artists, such as Battle of the Bands, Budding Talent Vocal Competition, and Student Art Contest – not to mention its award-winning Al Johnson Performing Songwriter Contest!
